Two Successful Court of Appeal Judgements for Armstrongs This Week

Partner, Sipho Ziga was successful in the Court of Appeal this week in two matters, one on behalf of the Attorney General (representing the now defunct Casino Control Board) and another one on behalf of the former Deputy Vice Chancellor of BIUST.  In the first matter, the Court of Appeal set aside a High Court judgment by Letsatsi Casino who had been granted an order renewing their Casino license for a period of 10 years, pursuant to a review application.

In the second matter, the Court of Appeal awarded damages for two years, to the former Deputy Vice Chancellor against BIUST (to be assessed by the Registrar) arising out of the unlawful refusal to extend or renew his contract.
