Quett Ketumile Joni Masire was the second President of Botswana, in office from 1980 to 1998.He was a leading figure in the independence movement and then the new government, and played a crucial role in facilitating and protecting Botswana’s steady financial growth and development. We are extremely proud to have had you as our leader and thank you for your invaluable contribution and service to our people and our country. Your legacy will serve as a constant reminder of how we as individuals and the community as a whole should work together towards developing and building a better Botswana.
