Associate Profile

One Seikano is an Associate in Armstrongs’ Commercial Department and is in charge of overseeing the Conveyancing Department.

One’s specialisations include conveyancing and property registration of contracts and agreements of sale, opinions & research, registration of securities (mortgage bonds, deeds of hypothecation, notarial bonds and other securities),and registering leases. She also has general litigation experience and has appeared and represented clients in the Courts of Botswana (Magistrate, High Court and Court of Appeal).

One’s expertise has afforded her the opportunity to undertake big transactions concerning property and registration of securities. Her recent mandates range from drafting sub-leases for commercial plots, registering deed of hypothecations and registering an education trust as well as providing legal advice on property acquisitions.

Voluntary Work Experience

Formed part of the team who travelled to Diphuduhudu, a village located in the Kgalagadi District, to work with the children of the village. This initiative was driven by King’s Camp. King’s Camps is part of the King`s Foundation, this charity was formed in 1991 and initially operated out of King’s Centre Church in Sheffield. The foundation now operates in Botswana and also organises the King’s Camps at Northside Primary School during school holidays.

Volunteer at Journey of Hope Botswana. The organisation’s main objective is to raise awareness on breast cancer in Botswana.
